Healing Crisis / Initial Aggravation

Consciously experiencing processes of change
In connection with Reiki, the terms healing crisis or initial aggravation are sometimes used. They describe temporary physical, emotional, or mental reactions that some people may perceive after a Reiki session.
Within Reiki practice, these experiences are often understood as part of a personal process of change and increased awareness. Some people report, for example, experiencing stronger emotions, increased tiredness, vivid dreams, or becoming more aware of topics that were previously overlooked or suppressed.
Everyone experiences Reiki differently. While some people feel deep relaxation and calmness, others may experience inner processes that encourage reflection and personal awareness.
It is important to approach these experiences mindfully and allow yourself time to integrate them.
