Reiki Levels

The different stages of the Reiki path
The Reiki levels describe the different stages on the personal Reiki journey. Each level provides new knowledge, deepens the individual practice, and opens up a further connection to Reiki energy.

1st Level (Shoden)
The first Reiki level forms the foundation of Reiki practice. You learn about the history of Reiki, the Reiki principles, as well as different methods of self-treatment and supporting others through Reiki. The focus is on connecting with yourself and developing a conscious awareness of your own energy.

2nd Level (Okuden)
The second Reiki level deepens the experiences gained so far and expands the practice through traditional Reiki symbols and their application. Topics such as mental focus, emotional balance, and distance Reiki are part of this level of training.

3rd Level (Shinpiden – Master Level)
The third Reiki level represents an intensive deepening of your own Reiki practice. It leads to a deeper understanding of Reiki teachings and supports those who wish to master Reiki on a personal level. Those who later want to teach Reiki and initiate others usually continue with the additional step of becoming a Reiki teacher.

Each Reiki level represents its own stage of development and invites you to consciously deepen your connection with yourself and the practice of Reiki.
