What is distance Reiki?

Distance Reiki is a method practiced from the second Reiki degree (Okuden) onwards. It is based on the understanding that energy is not bound by physical space or time. During a remote session, the practitioner connects with the recipient—mentally and with the aid of Reiki symbols—to provide energetic support across any distance.
